There was no HILL family in Cowlinge for the census of 1891, 1901 or 1911
He is recorded in Suffolk Archives as George, the memorial just has "G".
There is no clue from the pension cards. Any piece of information,no matter how small or seemingly insignificant could of of great assistance here.
