Sidney Howard Jordan was born in Kensington, Middlesex in 1909 son of William and Clara JORDAN (née LANSDELL).

1911 census.... Aged 3 he was at 3 Greyhound Road, Fulham with his father William JORDAN [31], boot dealer's manager, born Kensington, his mother Clara [37] born Cobham, Surrey and brothers Francis William [4] born Kensington and Shirley Arthur [1] born London

In Q2-1934, in Brighton, he married Anne Mary ALMOND.



Given the amount of armoured units in the area in WW2, it seems highly likely that Sidney was stationed here and possible had an accident with his tank. Thanks to Rob Miles and the war diary he found
24th Lancers -War Diary:- Chippenham 8/1/43 No.7927997, L/Cpl.Jordan, S.H. was killed in an accident with a Scout Car.
