Inside the church of St.Peter and St.Paul, on the north side wall, mounted in what appears to be a blocked up window or door is an incised stone tablet. The enclosure is headed by a crown finial and flanked by similar finals on which are incised crossed swords (on the left) and crossed rifles (on the right). Within is then a dark grey stone surround into which is inserted a plain stone tablet. At the head is inscribed "In Loving and Grateful Memory" above a small raised stone Latin cross. Below this

The memorial was designed by F.H.Goddard and dedicated on the 29th February 1920 and re-dedicated on 30th March 1952.

On the wall in the church is a white marble plaque on a black surround which was moved from the Bardwell Baptist Chapel in 2013, commemorating Private Frederick John Bean and Pioneer William Blizzard.

Also in the church, on the north wall, half way down the nave is a pointed stone plaque on a stone sill, incised with the names of parishioners who died in the Crimean War, 1854-55. Hopefully one day it may be possible to find out more about these six men.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
